Why We Are "Bond Girls"

So we are a part of the Hollywood Curling Club (even though we are located in Panorama City...not that far away, but by no means Hollywood), and for fun (cause that's what we do at Hollywood Curling) we choose really fun names for our teams like "The Curling Irons" or "Team Zissou" or "Broom Man Group." Us gals, decided to call ourselves "Team Bond Girls" and we also have nicknames from girls in the Bond movies. Here's the breakdown:

Marissa Messier - Plenty O'Toole
Cindy Wood - Miranda Frost
Jennifer Gamboa - Pussy Galore
Jennifer Lindsay - Xenia Onatopp
Donna Umali - Domino Vitali

We thought that this would give us an outlet to be really creative and embrace our femininity to make curling at another level even more fun. And if there's anything the rest of the crew want to add to this, please feel free. Cindy was very kind to sew all of our pink kilts, and pink and black is our color palette for our uniforms now. We definitely made splash at the playdowns in Seattle when we don our kilts for the first time. It really was interesting curling in a kilt...kind of liberating.

I'm sure people will add other things; so I won't hog all the space. Just wanted to give you a little insight to who we are.
