Live Streaming of Games

Ok - so we are going to give this live streaming of our games a whirl thanks to help from the Wisconsin Men's Team.... here is the link:

We're going to try to get a camera to be able to stream the games - if not - we might be able to do the iSight.

Suited up and ready to go....

Opening ceremonies are in about an hour - we're gearing up and getting ready to go. Lots of comments on how "cute" we look in our uniforms and we've already pretty much been voted best dressed.

I've got to announce the team members when we go out on the ice for opening ceremonies - so the rest of the girls should totally be worried about what I might say. :) And a girl scout is going carry our state flag for us as a bagpiper pipes us out on the ice. Fun! We'll post photos.

On a side note - we won the first coin toss we did - good job Cindy! We get the second practice at our first game tonight at 8pm. Good times ahead.

So we have the best curling club in all the country because they bought a full page ad to wish us luck at Nationals. Special thanks to Nick, Matt and Paul for designing and putting the ad in there - it looks great and was such a great surprise when we got to the Utica Club! We had to pose for some photos with it when we were eating our delicious dinner at Zebb's tonight.

Here is the amazing dedicated curling ice at the Utica Curling Club. Us Arena Curlers are insanely jealous of how great it is. Not to mention we were muscling the stones through the house all practice because we are used to having to really hurl the stones on arena ice. But we worked out all of our kinks in practice and will be ready to kick some butt when the games start tomorrow.
